Abseiling atrium glazing demolition
Abseiling atrium glazing demolition project was completed by Repair Abseiling Limited abseiler glazier team completed at City Gate House, Finsbury, London where the fully glazed glass atrium had to be demolished, taken apart and removed / lifted off and placed securely on an other roof part of the new building structure. This complex building refurbishment project by Mace / J.Coffey, required our assistance to remove safely and efficiently all heavy weight 350 kg double glazed units from the fully glazed atrium. As this atrium had to be disappeared on time to give place to the other trades and the further building process, the pressure was on this project. Any demolition project, even this glazing demolition project require fundamental knowledge about the actual structure, fixings, possibilities and restrictions, but our team was prepared and experienced enough for this project. This building – construction project (as any other) was bonded to the crane and its capacity, so the lifting operation of these glass units was squeezed into the really tight time-frame. Our abseiler glazier team successfully and seamlessly completed this abseiling atrium glazing demolition project using rope access, removed and lifted off all (24 no.) glass units in two stages on two days, what was remarkable achievement and strong reinforcement of our reputation. Glazing and glass replacement is a daily routine for our team, what defines the main profile and direction of our abseiling company.
