LED signage installation
LED signage installation requires specialist’s assistance sometimes, like in this case, when the new signage of “The Triangle” building had to be set up by a really complex sign installation process. This project included a comprehensive “restoration” of the full wall surface, especially behind the old aluminium vertical signage where the rusty marks, dust and other contamination coloured this delicate render. Our team cleaned the entire wall surface (high pressure jet wash cleaning), repaired all screw holes using identical render, vanished all surface colourisation and roughness with a special wall restoration method and painted the full base surface over properly. This effort payed off eventually, as the new, brilliant white rendered surface just lift the brightness and shine up of the new halo type LED lighting signage. Screwing up some base plates and letters or logos sounds easy, but this building and its structure required some extra and special fixing solutions. This building extension on the top floor was built on a so called SFS (steel frame system), covered with cement boards and Rockwool EWI system, which made the fixings and fixing method really complicated. Marking up all letters and its fixing points, drilling all oversized holes for the special butterfly fixings and spacer sheath, setting up all fixings and make the holes watertight with a special masticing process was challenging. Thanks to the designer and principal contractor / NES Solutions, / this halo light LED signage shines bright and advertises this building eventually.
